Kiss Bean because I have not cuddled with her nearly enough today.
Tomorrow will be Bean's second Thanksgiving. For the first time, she will find herself with a giant plate of food in front of her and I'm certain that 80% of it will end up on the floor or in my hair. She will sit at the table and regale everyone with her thrilling tale of "Goo Goo gurrrl" and "Mama Bee Zsh." She will giggle and stick out her tongue at my father who will probably continuing making funny faces long after he loses her attention. She will have evening dance party with her cousins marveling at her reflection in the giant mirror, circa 1971 that hangs in the living room. Bean will run in circles on the ground floor, weaving around the legs of various family members, pausing only when she finds my plaid wool pants in the crowd. She will look at me with her giant saucer blue eyes, hold her arms up high and say "Oyneay!" I will pick her up and she will snuggle close to me, plant a kiss of my cheek and then scurry back down to discover an unprotected outlet or stray kitchen knife.
